The facilities of the Cieplice Health Resort are located in the very center of Cieplice (currently the district of Jelenia Góra) in the immediate vicinity with the charming old town of Cieplice full of architectural monuments and the vast and well-kept parks "Zdrojowy" and "Norweski". Our guests can spend their free time walking and visiting Cieplice and the surrounding area. In the Cieplice Health Resort’s Theater, theater performances, concerts and cabarets are held throughout the year. In the summer months, the place of frequent concerts is the antique concert shell located in the Zdrojowy Park.

The Health Resort’s Theater was built in 1835-1836 on the initiative of Johann Nepomucen Schaffgotsch. It represents a romantic variation of classicism inspired by the works of Schinkel, the author of the project was an architect from Legnica Albert Tollberg. Initially, it functioned as a court theater, from 1840 it was intended for a wider circle of elite audience. On the initiative of Fryderyk Schaffgotsch in the years 1890-1918, the theater was renovated and restored. It has a fully preserved historical carpentry decor in the form of balconies, boxes, columns, pilasters, balustrades and a wooden ceiling with antique paintings. The original interior design was at the moment of its splendor an example of a refined concept of a small but refined theater hall, which is an example of a good taste of a designer composing elements of a renowned health resort.
